  • I suppose if GWB had made an appeal similar to this one it may have been interpreted as racially offensive. Except, Bush rarely sought these groups. Neither does Sarah Palin, or Michele Bachmann, or any of the high profile Republicans.

  • There are a lot of hateful comments on this subject by folks who appear to be "pro-life". But why crusade for the life of the unborn, when you can't respect the living. Is that your agenda? You want the unborn to be born, so you can then vilify him/her when you are in disagreement.

  • Reagan complained about government, then presided over the biggest increase in government spending in US history, while raising taxes on the middle class 6 times in eight years. Bush complained about government while presiding over a 2 trillion dollar deficit.
